India’s culinary traditions abound in celebratory dishes and desserts across the Expo 2020 Dubai site, as the festival of lights is marked in
style next week.
A heady mix of aniseed, cardamom, cumin, fenugreek and saffron can be found in Expo’s diverse array of Indian restaurants, from high-end Indian dining courtesy of Rohit Ghai, to Diwali-themed baking classes at Bread Ahead Bakery, and a delightful sweet and savoury menu at Farrago.
2020 Club by Emaar presents an exclusive Diwali dinner, with five contemporary cuisines to choose from. The restaurant’s farm-to-table concept features scores of organic and local ingredients in line with Expo 2020’s sustainability ethos.
