As the world strives to create a cleaner, safer, healthier future, Expo 2020, with all its infrastructure, innovations and collaborations, serves as a blueprint towards a viable future, establishing sustainable benchmarks and leaving a meaningful legacy for generations to come.

Expo City: a model global community for the future

Transitioning into Expo City, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will live long after we close our doors at the end of March 2022. This sustainable, human-centric smart city will reuse at least 80% of the Expo-built infrastructure, including LEED Gold and Platinum-certified buildings. As an integrated mixed-use community, it will carry on and fulfil Expo’s founding vision to be an ecosystem to connect, create and innovate.

A lasting legacy: ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’

The connections we will all make, our hopes and aspirations, and the opportunity to experience the innovation, ideas, cultures and traditions of 192 participating countries will all translate into building a better tomorrow for all of humanity.
