About the company

Humans in the Loop is an organisation based in Bulgaria which brings together technology and social impact. Their mission is to help refugees become the so-called digital nomads, by providing them with opportunities for freelance work and upskilling. They are currently working with 50 people, of whom 65% are women, who also receive courses in English and IT skills. The projects they work on are very accessible and at the same time are powering exciting technologies such as self-driving cars. Their next milestone is to scale to the whole Balkan region to impact up to 1,000 refugees.
